ITA Office – Refunds & Guarantees

At ITA Office, we want you to order with full confidence. Every International Driving Permit (IDP) you purchase is covered by our guarantees, so you’re always protected. If something goes wrong, we’ll fix it quickly with a replacement, correction, or refund.

If you ever need help, please contact us first — most issues are solved the same day, much faster than going through your bank.

Global Acceptance Guarantee

Your IDP is guaranteed to be accepted in all countries listed on our “Where It’s Accepted” page.
If your IDP is officially refused by a car rental agency or traffic authority in one of these countries, we’ll provide a full refund, guaranteed.

Eligible orders:

  • Refused by car rental agencies with any documentary evidence of rejection or refusal
  • Refused by traffic authorities in countries found on this list with any documentary evidence of rejection or refusal
  • Within three (3) years of placing the order or date of order

Fast Digital Delivery Guarantee

We guarantee on-time digital delivery once your application is complete and approved:

  • Standard processing: within 2 hours
  • Express processing: within 20 minutes

If we miss these timelines, you’ll get a full refund, guaranteed.

Please take note: Only applications with complete and approved requirements are eligible for this guarantee. We are unable to process applications with incomplete documentary requirements, license information, and/or shipping information.


Unlimited Free Replacements

You are entitled to free replacements for as long as your IDP is valid. No need to worry — we cover all reprinting and shipping costs to the same address listed in your order.

If you’d like your replacement sent to a different address or with faster delivery, we’ll still cover the printing and issuance — you only need to cover the new shipping fee.

Eligible orders:

  • All Digital IDP copies
  • Lost printed copies of the IDP booklet and/or complementary card (same shipping address as in your order)
  • Orders that never arrived with supporting tracking history

Shipping & Address Protection

We rely on the shipping address you provide at checkout, so please double-check before completing your order.

  • If your IDP cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we will refund the difference between the digital and print version of your order. You may also request a re-shipment once the correct address is provided — shipping is free.
  • If your order never arrives due to carrier error, we’ll reprint and reship for free.

Changed Mind? Decided Not to Travel?

You are covered by our 30-day refund policy.

  • Cancel within 2 hours of ordering → full refund, no questions asked.
  • Cancel after 2 hours but within 30 days → refund available with:
    • 15% printing & handling fee
    • $10 reprinting fee if printing already started
    • Non-refundable shipping fees once the order has been shipped

Eligible orders:

  • Changed mind about the product
  • IDP is unused
  • Refund requests for IDPs not rejected by traffic authorities or car rental agencies
  • Refund requests without documentary evidence of rejection

Note: Upgrades Are Non-Refundable

  • All upgrades (express processing, premium shipping, etc.) are non-refundable once processed.
  • Upgrades are excluded from our 3-year money-back guarantee.
  • By purchasing an upgrade through ITA Office, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

How to Claim

  1. Contact us via chat, email, or phone.
  2. Provide official proof of rejection (letter, email, or screenshot).
  3. Receive your refund within 5 business days of approval.

Important Notes

  • Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days, with email confirmation sent to you.
  • Digital IDPs are considered delivered once sent to the email you provided. Please ensure it’s correct.
  • Fraudulent or abusive claims will be denied and may be reported to relevant authorities/payment processors.
